Floyd & Amy Dauber October 2011

Dear friends,
“For as far as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His loving-kindness toward those who fear Him.  As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.  Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.”  Ps. 103: 11-13
We continue to marvel at God’s mercy, love, greatness and so much more.  We are so thankful to Him for all good things He has done for and in us and desire the same for those who are serving Him both near and far.  We also desire God’s blessings on those whom we and so many others are reaching out to with the Good News of Jesus Christ.  The International workers have returned to their countries, to their studies and families but we continue to pray that the good seed sown by our lives, God’s Word in their language, prayer and continued communication by skype, facebook and emails will take root and change their lives.  We remind you to pray for those from Czech Republic (Jan, Zdenek, Monika, Barca, Pavlina and Kate); from Moldova (Renata, Oxana, Cristina and Oliga); Bulgaria (Irina) and Romania.  Only Monika is a genuine Christian and the others are at different stages of understanding the Gospel.  Thank you for praying.
Our future plans for travel and ministry include a three week trip to Maldonado, Uruguay to spend some family time with Peter & Naomi, Hannah, Lydia and Jadon Gill. We sure miss them and will be there to help in any way we can as well as taking them some needed supplies.  If you wish to send them small gifts, please let us know so we can fit them into the luggage by Nov. 20th.  Upon return to Minnesota, we will be receiving Tim, Andrea, Megan and Emily Dauber who will fly in from Seattle, WA to spend Christmas with us.  We cherish every moment we can spend with our children and grandchildren.  Ruth is in Paris but we do not know when our paths will cross again, hopefully soon.  Thanks for praying for them all.
From January 20th to  April10th we plan to return to Ecuador, making Cuenca our base where a new church was started this Feb. when we were there.  God is blessing and we expect great things from Him in that city.  We will be assisting the pastor, Willer and his wife, Lety, in anyway we can be of help but also will be open to minister in other places in Ecuador as the need arrives.  We would like to host work teams to Rio Bonito to continue some needed work on their chapel as well as assist in children, outreach and marriage conferences.  The dates are Feb. 10-26 and the attached brochure gives more info.  We DO NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR THIS TEAM.  Your two weeks will not be forgotten by the people you serve nor will you forget these experiences.  Join us now.   A second team is needed in Quito (also in attachment) to help rebuild what was destroyed by fire at the church and pastoral home in La Bota.  Though dates are suggested, we are open to other options.
We do praise God for good reports coming from Fuengirola, Spain.  The church group we were working with were forced to change to another facility due to city regulations.  Necessary adaptations have been made and the local lay leaders are guiding the church forward.  Recently they reported the baptism of 4 people.  Please continue to pray for the advancement of the Gospel in Spain and in neighboring countries to the south.
When in the U.S. we are available to share in missionary conferences and any other missionary activity your church may have.  We also continue to make available our lower apartment for missionaries and Christian workers who would like to stay in this area for short periods of time.  Feel free to contact us and we would be glad to have you.
Sincerely yours in His Service,
Floyd & Amy Dauber

May 2011 Floyd & Amy Dauber

Dear Friends,
Greetings from Breezy Point, Minnesota.  We remind you all that we do have a furnished apartment available for anyone who would like to come for a few days.  It is independent and very comfortable thanks to Peter and Naomi who furnished it with their furniture.  There is plenty of good fishing close by and just a quiet country setting.  Call or email us if we can be of service to you.  We’d love to have you.
John 15:5 “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches.  Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.  For apart from me you can do nothing.” (NLT)
Two things stand out from our recent missionary trips to Ecuador.  First is God’s faithfulness to bless His Word, the Seed that has been sown in evangelism, discipleship and leadership training.  This is so evident in the lives of those He is working in and through.  With some it has been  consistent spiritual growth and fruit bearing since their conversion and with others the seed took longer to germinate but finally fruit is developing in their lives.  It is a joy along with work teams to be instruments of encouragement to these pastors and their wives, church leaders and even the common believers.  The aid that we had a part in providing not only giving  them a spiritual boost but also in helping a few to have their own homes and business.  We are witnesses to God’s blessing in churches and mission works in Latacunga, Quito, Machala, Rio Bonito (and their mission outreaches to neighboring pueblos), Santa Rosa and Cuenca. As God wills, we will continue these mission trips including work teams in 2012.
Second, we marvel at the divine appointments God arranges.  To some people these may seem to be coincidences but in so many cases, they are clearly orchestrated by God.  It would take a few pages to share all of these incidents but often it just took our getting out there where the people were whether at the Malls, on the street, in businesses, at restaurants or airports, visiting homes, etc.  In brief these encounters ranged from totally new acquaintances to renewed contacts after more than twenty years.  For some this contact served to awaken their spiritual interests, while in others to encourage them to renew their walk with God.  A member of our work team commented that it seemed like wherever we went, we would meet people that knew us.  God is good and how we desire to be instruments of blessing to all those we and our work team members meet.
Looking ahead to this summer, we continue to promote missions in local churches, prepare to meet with international student workers (mostly from eastern Europe who work here at Breezy Point Resort, communicate almost daily with friends from Spain and Ecuador, and motivate and prepare work teams for 2012 mission trips.
Two work teams to Ecuador are in the making and will only be possible as God brings us candidates who will participate in these ventures.  We plan to make Cuenca our base again to serve the new church plant there, taking out time for a work team to Rio Bonito in February.  The request is to help develop two new church plants in San Miguel de Brasil and Ponce Enriquez, towns near to Rio Bonito where lay leaders are presently ministering.  Specific activities will be studied but probably will involve children, small construction projects and evangelism.  This will be for about two weeks including Feb. 14th and the team will stay at the Hotel Paraiso in Rio Bonito.  A second team is urgently needed for Quito to help rebuild church classrooms for a church that Francisco and Cristina San Lucas lead.  This year, a fire destroyed the parsonage with all their belongings and damaged the upper part of the church.  This team would be involved in hard work, constructing as well as local ministries.  We would live at the Covenant Mission guest house and the dates could be anytime from mid-July to mid-August, 2012.  It would have been nice to go even this August if workers and funds were available.

We continue to invite you to pray with us for all the members of our family; Peter and Naomi serving in Maldonado, Uruguay with their three children, Hannah, Lydia (who has serious health problems) and Jadon; Ruth in Paris and Tim and Andrea with daughters, Megan and Emily in Lynnwood, Washington.  Also pray for our contacts in Spain – Imane & Antonio; Jose & Blanca, those of the Fuengirola Church and others who are not yet saved.

Floyd and Amy Dauber

March 2011 Floyd & Amy Dauber

Dear friends,
Greetings from Cuenca, Ecuador.  Cuenca is a very traditional Catholic city (52 R. C. churches and cathedrals) situated in the Andes mountains about 3 hours east of Machala or Guayaquil.  We came here on March 1 by taxi van to work with Willer and Leticia Montesinos with the goal of initiating a new church plant beginning from scratch.  We did not know where we would be living but were confident that the Lord would supply us a place.  Dr. Manuel Avila picked us up and took us to a home where he had arranged for us to live.  The Torres Dominguez family gave us the keys to their home and then went to their country home where they live much of the time.  We are very thankful for God’s provisions.  A week later they invited us to their hacienda for meals and to meet some of their friends and family.  We have followed up some of these contacts and hope to see them attending our Bible study and church soon.
Also we hosted Brian and Nannette Swinford from Nashville, TN.  who came to visit us for a few days.  Nannette had lived with us during the summer of 2001 when she was a summer missionary worker in Machala.  Now with her husband, she wanted to revisit some of the friends and churches she had come to know ten years ago.
From Mar. 4th until now, we have worked closely with Willer and Letty, both grads from Hebron Seminary in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.  We spend much time praying together for the work, visiting new contacts or calling them.  We have begun ladies’  Bible studies each Wednesday and church Bible study each Thursday night.  We also meet together for church services every Sunday morning.  Attendance averages between 12 and 20 persons.  Those attending come from the coast while in Cuenca for medical attention.  Also four university students all studying medicine, two families who work with an local airline, another lady from Manabi area, a couple we who attended our cell group in Machala, a lawyer, an American couple and occasional other visitors make up our group plus Willer, Letty, Amy and I.
April 3rd, we inaugurated a store like facility that will serve as church building for the next few months.  Thirty chairs and a table have been donated locally and those attending seem ready to serve the Lord and contribute to the planting of this new church.  This weekend couples who helped us found the churches in Machala and Latacunga visited us here in Cuenca and distributed literature and invitations in the neighborhood of the new church facility.  This is a faith venture under the supervision of the AIUME national association and the Machala Church.  We trust that it will soon be self-supporting, self-propagating and self-governing.  We have quite a long list of potential contacts to follow up and are praying for God to edify His church with the people He chooses to be its members.
We have made two trips this month, one to Quito to attend the closing celebration of Avant (Gospel Missionary Union) leaving the Ecuador field.  This was with mixed emotions, of joy to see several missionary friends and national workers whom we had not seen for several years and sadness that our mission is leaving this field after 115 years.  There will be a void even though there are national churches and associations, Quichua, Shuar and Spanish who will carry on the ministries but there is always the danger of false teachings coming in and carrying congregations away from Biblical doctrine and practices.  This is already evident in some churches in Puyo, Ventanas and other places.  A few missionaries will continue ministering here as well as others who can come for a few months each year.
A second trip was made to Machala and Rio Bonito so Amy could share in a women’s tea and we could visit a number of families in the area.  One of families we visited was that of Felipe and Roxana who on March 22nd, had triplet girls to add to their other four children.  All are doing well even though they all live in a one room rented house.  They are so thankful for gifts that have come to help them especially from the work team from Backus, MN who were there in Feb.  They are trusting God to supply their needs from different sources.   Keep praying for them.
Soon, April 10th, we will be returning to our home in Breezy Point, MN and continue serving in the local church there and whatever ministries God opens to us.  Of course, we have requests from a number of places including Cuenca to return in the near future to continuing serving Him.  Pray that God will make His will clear to us, the place, the timing, etc.  We do want to visit our daughter, Naomi, Peter and grandchildren in Uruguay as the Lord permits, perhaps in Nov. this year.
With grateful hearts,
Floyd and Amy Dauber

March letter from Ruth

Dear friends,

By the time most of you receive this email, our team may be in the middle of the 2nd of 4 kids’ club meeting for the Easter season. We had the first one last week, which went very well. Not as many kids came as had registered, but we are thankful for each one that is able to come. As part of the craft for today, we will be doing the wordless book bracelets. Please pray for the kids to grasp the message these bracelets contain, and for the parents’ curiosity to lead them to want to know more about God and his life-changing message.

On Thursday afternoon (tomorrow), Monique and Patrice (she’s the Polish lady I met on the bus) have invited me to an event that include their closer friends. Even though we haven’t seen each other very much lately, I’m hoping and praying that this will deepen our relationship and that there will be opportunities to share Christ with them.

This Friday, I have an appointment at the French government office for my visa renewal. My teammate Vanessa will also be renewing hers. We’d appreciate prayers for this as sometimes they require more paperwork then what they tell us originally.

My team leaders’ 15-year old son, Jaden, will have his baptism on April 3rd. Jaden is inviting some of his classmates to come, and many friends of the Rempel family are also invited. Most are not believers and yet have watched the Rempels live out their faith day after day. We don’t know what kind of impact this will have, but we desire for God to be glorified and for lives to be changed. Perhaps this will be one more link that will bring them closer to a personal relationship with God.

In these last few weeks, I have become more involved in the small France Mission church. There are 5 of us ladies studying 2 Corinthians together every Tuesday. We take turns leading, and we spend time praying for each other and for the community. I personally have loved being a part of this, studying God’s word in depth with others, and getting to know these ladies better.

During 1-7 of April, there will be an art exhibition portraying God’s word through painting, which is organized by this small church. We spent last weekend walking up and down the streets handing out invitation flyers, encouraging people to come. We will be taking turns in ‘shifts’ at the expo to welcome people and talk with them as they come. The church is in an area that has a large Mus;lim population, and perhaps some of them will come. One North African man, a kebab shop owner, wanted several flyers to give out to his customers.

One of the things I enjoy doing is hosting guests in my flat, and I’ve had the chance to do that more lately. My prayer is that each time someone comes over, they will leave with more awareness of God then when they first came.

Please continue to pray for my other friends – Larry and Anne, Jack and Annie, and Elise. So often it seems that something gets in the way of our meeting times and it’s hard not to be frustrated or disappointed when that happens. Pray for wisdom and discernment on my part on how much to ‘insist’ or to step back.

The weather has been incredible in Paris lately – which helps to meet with people! May we take every opportunity God brings our way to share him with others.

Serving with you,

Ruth Estella

March 9th – Floyd & Amy Dauber

Dear friends,
Greetings from Cuenca, Ecuador.  We have both had some health issues here in Cuenca but are confident we will be good in a few days.  We were joined here by Brian and Nannette Swinford from Nashville, TN who are seeking God’s leading in their involvement in missions.  Nannette spent a summer with us ten years ago in Machala as a short term worker and had to return with her husband.
Going back to our coming to Ecuador, we arrived Jan. 22nd to Guayaquil, were met by Pastor Miguel Mora from Rio Bonito who brought us to Machala where we stayed about ten days.  While in Machala, we were able to get acquainted with the new pastor, Ishmael and his wife, Veronica and see the great ministry they are doing.  They are very young, with two small children and in the process of rebuilding the congregation.  Many have been saved and are being baptized.  Juan Carlos and Patty (Vasquez) serve as assistants to the pastor and are doing a fabulous job with Awana (over 100 children) as well as radio followup of contacts, visitation, youth and music ministries.  It is a joy to see how God is using these young lives for His glory.  We also visited the Santa Rosa church, another mission outreach from Machala and saw how Pastor Angel Masa and family have been blessed.  The church is full and now they have purchased a lot so to build and continue to grow.  Angel like Miguel and Carmen was a student of our Machala extension seminary program.
Feb. 4th, we moved to Rio Bonito where I gave two conferences on Marriage Enrichment that Saturday before receiving the ministry team from Backus, Minnesota.  They arrived after midnight and we took them to an hotel in Guayaquil.  In the morning we showed them around a little and then went by bus to Rio Bonito.  We all met with the church people Sunday evening.  For the next two weeks, along with the mostly youth team from Lakeside
Baptist we helped the local church in a medical brigade.  Along with young men from the church, I evangelized the patients before they received medical attention.  A good number prayed to receive Christ and especially at a place called San Miguel de Brasil, we sensed a spiritual hunger.  The seed was sown and the youth helped with the children.  Each afternoon for two weeks, the youth helped with Vacation Bible Schools, first in Rio Bonito with around 100 children and then Cotopaxi, about 35.  When not in VBS, the youth and adults from the team remodeled a church kitchen and painted doors in the church.  The youth spent several evenings with the local youth.  They seemed to bond as you may have seen on facebook pictures.
Another highlight, was a multiple wedding held at the Rio Bonito Church for nine couples.  All had been married legally but had not had a church ceremony.  This was a good testimony to their families and community.  I gave the message and Pastor Miguel led the exchange of vows.  The ceremony was beautiful and they had put so much work into the reception.  One evening we were invited to join Edison and Alexandra with their cell group in Ponce Enriquez, a gold mining town about five miles away.  They meet weekly with about 25 people including children and there is a visible openness to the Gospel.  We believe that it is a church plant in the making.  Pray for them.  Still another praise item is how God is using Anibal and Piedad Cadena, a couple that studied two years in Hebron Seminary in Bolivia but had to leave there due to their child’s illness.  They are in charge of the youth work in Rio Bonito.  That week, at least 12 professed Christ as savior of over 50 who attend.  They also disciple youth during the week.  The sad part was that they live in a home almost entirely empty with no furnishings.  We are promoting here in Ecuador as much help as possible for them as possible.  We also wish to inform you all that Felipe and Roxana had triplets girls Feb.22 and they were all home by Feb. 28th and are doing well.  Please keep praying for them as this makes 7 children in this household.
From Rio Bonito, with the team we visited Machala one Sunday before they returned to the States.  Again we were amazed to see how God is working in and through the lives of the two young couples leading the Machala ministry.  Then we travelled by taxi van to Cuenca where we will be working with Willer and Lety Montesinos in a new church plant.  God has provided us a place to live with a Catholic family we did not know.  Pray as we begin to make plans for outreach to contacts in this city.  Pray for internet connection to be available to us.  We sure have missed that.   We trust God to do great things even in this month we are here.  These past 3 days we have met people God has brought into our paths who appear very open to the Gospel.  We have begun sharing with them and will start meetings this week, Thursdays and Sundays in a home.

Ruth Dauber

Dear friends around the world,

Communication via technology is great, but it just doesn’t compare to visiting people in person. I have been in regular contact with my friends in Poland, but being right there with them in December was simply great! I felt uniquely blessed to be able to visit one on one with so many people and listen to their hearts. Several have had a very tough year, either in their jobs or in relationships, and yet they have chosen to lean on God and his Word. There are some definite challenges in the ministry there, but I came away encouraged by the commitment to God the believers have in Poznan.

Before leaving Paris for Poland, I had prayed that God would reveal to me what I need to see regarding the ministry in Poland, as well as ministry here in Paris. In Poland, I developed deep friendships and saw fruit in ministry early on. In Paris, it’s more difficult to develop deep connections with people. Being away from Paris most of December allowed me to see clearly that God is at work here too. One of the obvious ways is the open door for the kids’ club, which will start up again soon.

One thing is sure, my dependence on God has deepened since I’ve been in Paris. It has been discouraging at times when I think I’m developing a friendship with different ones here, to see it seemingly result into nothing. For a relational person such as myself, that is hard to take. But I choose to believe that each person I meet is a gift from God. In my Poland visit, one day I ‘accidently’ ran into Ania, a girl I had met a couple of times but we had lost contact. For about a half an hour, she shared how God used our times together as part of her journey to finding Jesus. I was truly humbled as God reminded me that he is the one who works in hearts, and we are to be obedient and leave the results up to him.

As I was talking with my mom recently, I came to realize that God has given me a ministry that I was taking for granted. There are several believers, French and other nationalities, that I spend time with. Some are people who work secular jobs, and some are Christian workers. A couple of them have recently reached spiritual burnout. Since meeting with them, we have seen God answer very specific prayers. This wasn’t a ministry I expected to have, but my desire is for God to use me as he wishes, and he’s giving me an opportunity to help them so they can be more effective in Paris. I also continue to meet with Elise every week and just this weekend, one of my neighbors seemed interested in having coffee together.

God has confirmed to me in several ways that I am in the right place. You are a huge part of what I do here, and your prayers – well, I simply can’t do without them. I can’t even express the appreciation I have for you. There can be some lonely times here, but it encourages me to know that you are behind me, both in your prayers and in your giving.

Happy New Year/Bonne Année to you all!

Ruth Estella

PS. One of the highlights for me in Poland was visiting with Agnes. She was one of the first Polish people I met after arriving in Poland in 2004 and the director of Gospel Joy choir. (recent GJ photo attached) At that time, she was resistant to the gospel until she surrendered her life to Jesus in July 2007. She has come a long way since then and is deeply rooted in her faith. Please pray for her husband, who is not a believer. As you can imagine, that is heavy on her heart.

Floyd & Amy Dauber January 2011

Dear friends,
Greetings again from Minnesota.  It seems that we only come home to Breezy Point, Minnesota to unpack and prepare for the next trip.  On Jan. 21st we plan to fly back to Ecuador to serve for nearly three months.  There are yet many unknowns to us but I will share what I know so you can pray for us.
January 22nd after a night flight to Guayaquil, we will travel to Rio Bonito to leave there some supplies, visit with Pastor Miguel Mora and then on to Machala.  The Montesinos family have invited us to stay in their home until Feb. 4th when we return to Rio Bonito.  The new pastor in Machala, Ishmael has asked me to accompany him in visitation of a number of folks we are acquainted with.  We will try to help each contact to continue to grow spiritually and will serve as we are asked in different ministries.
Feb. 5th in Rio Bonito, I have been asked to give two conferences on the family to a large number of pastors and Christian leaders along with another speaker.  Pray for me as this is not easy.  That night late, the missionary work team from Backus, MN should be arriving around midnight to Guayaquil so I will plan to meet them and take them to an hotel.  Feb. 6th, we all travel back to Rio Bonito to begin that week a medical brigade outreach and construction on the chapel. (jobs include painting and putting tile on the chapel floor.  On the 12th a multiple marriage ceremony is planned for several couples who have never had a church wedding ceremony over such we will officiate.  that will be followed by a baptism service at BajoAlto, a small village on the Pacific coast.  That following week the team and church people will be holding vacation Bible school, another medical outreach and doing some construction.  It should keep us busy.  Wedged in will be on day trip to Cuenca for a change of climate and sightseeing.  On Sunday the 20th, the team will be visiting the Machala church and sharing with testimonies there.  Monday the 21st we will send off the work team and head probably to Cuenca where we plan to serve most of the time until April 8th.
Cuenca is where Willer and Lety Montesinos are serving in a new church plant.  We will be available to serve in teaching, visitation, music and whatever else is needed.  In Cuenca we do not know where we will stay nor what transportation we will have.  Please pray for God’s provision.  I am certain that during those weeks there will be invitations to minister also in Machala and other places.
We are thankful that good contributions have come in to help some believers have a lot and home of their own in the Rio Bonito area.  We will also be talking with the leadership there about starting of small businesses and how we can help.
Where we lack funds right now is for the construction materials and medical supplies needed for the Rio Bonito ministry.  We do have a matching fund donation offered for any gifts totaling up to $500.  Any funds above that amount will be welcomed as we could use about $3,000.  All donations should be in before the end of January.  They may be sent to Pequot Lakes Baptist Church, P.O. Box 117, Pequot Lakes, MN 56472 for proper receipting.  Bank deposits or transfers can be made also but you should call the church office for details – 1-218-568-4794.
Please pray for the six youth from Lakeside Baptist Church in Backus, Youth Pastor Richie Bean, Robert and Linda Smith all who will make up our work team.  Pray for safety for all our travels, health and that we will be God’s ambassadors in Ecuador.

Blessed Christmas From Floyd & Amy Dauber

Dec.  19, 2010

“Jesus said, ..I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”    John 8:12

A few days before leaving Spain, while drinking coffee in an outside café with one of our friends for the last time, we began discussing the world situation. Then A. asked, “How much longer will we need to wait for a change? Thousands of years have passed but things continue to be the same, even though man has progressed in intelligence and knowledge. How long do we have to wait? In all of history there has been something missing. I wish God would send a light to show me that missing piece.” What an opportunity to share the good tidings of great joy that would be for all people that the angel told the shepherds that first Christmas night. “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a SAVIOR, who is CHRIST the LORD.” God did send THE LIGHT, JESUS CHRIST, the SAVIOR to this messed up sinful world. This time A. listened intently and seemed desperate to know the answer. His attitude now was in clear contrast from what it was before our leaving Spain in 2009. He would laugh and try to argue about what I (Amy) would share with his wife about spiritual matters. We have been praying for the salvation of A. and P. That conversation alone was worth our trip to Spain! They treated us royally and served us to an exquisite Persian meal.

We were privileged to be invited into many homes of believers as well as of nonbelievers, often including meals of delicious Mediterranean Spanish and Moroccan cuisine. We were shown great kindness and generosity. We also had friends over or took them out for a meal. It was quite a challenge cooking without an oven with only a two burner electric stove.

We resumed the former ministries at the open market on Saturdays by giving out Bibles, literature and DVD’s as well as leaving a witness in the homes of our unsaved friends whom we visited. I was able to have coffee and visit with Maria Jose, now a widow, whom I had made friends with and had given her literature on different occasions. Now she has lots of time to read and was grateful for what I gave her. Also it was a blessing to be part of the small congregation in Fuengirola participating in prayer, music and teaching. We were encouraged to see new ones in the church and the spiritual growth in the new believers that were baptized in 2009 as they use their gifts in the local church. José is now one of the leaders who sometimes preaches on Sundays and is in charge of the literature ministry. Sabina is very quick to witness to anyone she encounters. She and I made a visit to one of her friends, Fina, who has seen a great change in Sabina’s life. Fina made a profession of faith and began to attend the Sunday services. Mari Carmen continues to grow in her spiritual life and now it is no secret to her husband about her faith and church involvement. She has opened her home to us and the church people. One afternoon she had us all over for a tea and a carol sing.

December 22nd, we will be travelling by Amtrak from Staples, MN to Everett, WA to spend Christmas and New Years with Tim, Andrea, Megan and Emily. We will be returning by air. We surely will miss Peter, Naomi, Hannah, Lydia, Jadon who are serving in Uruguay and Ruth serving in Paris (actually in Poland during the Christmas season).

Please pray for our trip to Ecuador January 21 through April 10. February 5 we will be joined with a work team of 9 or 10 to Rio Bonito for two weeks. (note:  there is still time to join this team.)  After that we will be helping with a new church plant in Cuenca which is a branch off of the Machala church where we served for seven years.. Many of the logistics still need to be worked out about housing and transportation.

We again want to communicate how thankful we are for your stepping out by faith and being faithful partners with us, some now for MANY years. You have been such a blessing to us and God has faithfully provided through you and for that we are grateful. He is our ultimate Provider.

May God continue to bless you and

MAY YOU HAVE A BLESSED CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
